Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hiitown platform — including the Hiitown mobile app and website (collectively, the "Service") — operated by HiiLabs ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
You must create an account to access most features of the Service. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content — including fake event listings or restaurant information.
Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against any person.
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without our written permission.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems.
Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by these Terms.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
4. Events and Ticketing
For attendees
When you purchase a ticket through Hiitown, you are entering into a transaction with the event organiser. Hiitown facilitates the transaction but is not the seller of the ticket. All sales are subject to the organiser's own terms. Refund policies are set by the organiser. We are not responsible for event cancellations, changes, or the conduct of organisers.
For organisers
By creating an event on Hiitown, you represent that you have the legal right to host the event and sell tickets for it. You are responsible for:
Accurate and complete event information — dates, location, pricing, and description.
Delivering the event as described to ticket holders.
Handling attendee complaints, refunds, and disputes.
Complying with all applicable laws, including those relating to events, venues, and consumer rights.
Obtaining all necessary permits, licences, and insurance.
5. Restaurant and Food Ordering
Hiitown connects customers with restaurant businesses. When you place a food order through the Service, you are entering into a transaction with the restaurant, not with Hiitown. Restaurants are responsible for the accuracy of their menus, pricing, and the fulfilment of orders. Hiitown is not responsible for food quality, order accuracy, or any issues arising from restaurant operations.
Restaurants listed on Hiitown represent that their menu information is accurate and that they hold all required licences and permits to operate.
6. Payments and Fees
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. By making a payment through the Service, you authorise us and our payment providers to process the transaction. Hiitown may charge service fees on transactions — these will be clearly disclosed at checkout.

7. User Content
You may submit content to the Service, including event descriptions, photos, reviews, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Hiitown a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
You represent and warrant that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights and does not violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content — excluding User Content — are and remain the exclusive property of HiiLabs and its licensors. Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used without our prior written consent.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership of our intellectual property.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Accessing third-party services is at your own risk.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiiLabs and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Hiitown in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HiiLabs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
